07 Dec How I Healed My Energy with Meditation

It is said that we have 4 bodies of energy: Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual.

While they are independent of each other, if any one of them don’t align, it will throw you off balance, leaving the body longing for the energy that it’s missing. Usually, whenever I’ve felt like I’m lacking something, or in discomfort, I know that something has thrown the balance off. We are all prone to accidents, take a wrong step or sleep weirdly and the next day, your body starts to remind you that you are getting older.
I recently sprained my neck, after sleeping on an extremely unsupported hotel bed, and I couldn’t turn to the left for a week!

I wasn’t able to meditate for too long, just 5 minutes a day and even though I made time for meditation, I wasn’t able to snap out of the discomfort.

I let the pain stress me out, I let my whole body tense up, I became so stressed out, I had to give up on driving to work. I usually say to myself “just adapt to the situation, just accept and work around discomfort, you’ll be fine”.

With some introspection, I understood that if I was far from balancing all the energies, a disturbance in one will overflow and now it has actually happened! My physical energy was agitated so the other three were thrown off balance! I was mentally upset and my emotions were all over the place too.

It was as though I had filled too much water in one compartment of the ice cube tray, and the spillage went over to the other cubes and eventually, it overflowed with water.

The only answer to keeping all my energies in check- was to not panic! Anxiety is a “wonderful” disease that millions of people face and it is indeed marvelous the effects, it has.  Getting worried is so much easier than choosing to stay calm.

Anxiety is one of those things that needs to be nipped in the bud and meditation helped me with that. Meditation releases people from the negative energy of their past, and cleans up their mental states and repairs the entire energy system.

I feel like if I can meditate right in the morning, I can nip most of my problems before they arise because I am aware of the symptoms of anxiety and I can handle it with a clear head. That post meditation feeling makes me so relaxed and happy that I am actually so calm towards any problems that arise that day.

Can you relate to my story too?
