10 Feb 5 Ways Successful People Access The Subconscious Mind
To access the subconscious mind is to identify patterns, develop insightful connections and have an improved overall positive effect on your life. Many successful people follow the following habits, are you one of them?
The subconscious mind of successful individuals have 5 key points that differentiate them from others.
Number 1: They Recognize Thoughts That Bring Them Down.
Successful people recognize situations where they are emotionally dejected and study how the subconscious mind reacts to that. (For example: if you’ve grown up seeing your mom/dad angry when someone is not on time, your subconscious will try to copy that). So pick up cues on how the subconscious mind is controlling your emotions.
If you want to attain maximum success in doing something that matters to you, the first step is to kick out the fear of failure from your mind. Obviously, you cannot control what happens to you, but if you train and access your subconscious mind, by being emotionally detached to your tasks, that would be ideal towards reaching success. This way emotions won’t pose a serious obstacle in achieving your goals.
Number 2: They Practice Specific Visualization.
Have you ever imagined how awful your test would be when you come to the fact that you haven’t studied enough? Or have you formed an opinion about a TV show based on a friend’s positive or negative opinions?
The way you visualize the future does have an impact on your outcome. But here is the trick, that successful people do- the don’t have general visualizations, they have specific goals! Specific visualization is where you train your mind to think of situations in a more specific detail.
Try to visualize what success means to you and even go to the extent of saying “I want to publish a paper at XYZ publication”, “ I want to be the number one listed app on Google Play in the XYZ field” etc.
This detailed level of visualization is something that would help you narrow down on where you need to work upon and act accordingly.
Write down these visions of yours on how you visualize success for yourselves and arrange them by their order of priority with the ones needing immediate action at the top. Cut this list short, down to the topmost 5 or 10 goals.
Number 3: Staying Affirmative on Thoughts and Decisions
Now that you’ve got your top 5 or 10 goals, it’s time to train the subconscious mind. If I ask you to give me 100 push-ups, your mind is going to fight against it, because it hates change. So while your subconscious mind will always come up with excuses and reasons to avoid tackling these issues, it is your job to train your subconscious mind to stick to these decisions of yours.
The best way to do this is to make short affirmative statements like:
‘I will do XYZ task today for ABC minutes’ and so on.
Make sure you repeat these affirmations as much as possible, starting from the minute you wake up( what else is brushing time for?) until they are soaked up by the brain. This way you can train and access the subconscious mind towards success in all activities with these short and positive affirmations!
Number 4: They Practice Daily Meditation and Physical Activities
The benefits of meditation cannot be emphasized more in the present day, with all of the complexities involved in our daily lives.
In order to keep the subconscious mind fresh at all times, you need to get moving and relaxing! Meditation and physical exercises have proven to have significant positive impact on the human brain, at a level where it creates new connections altogether.
Your subconscious mind needs to be kept fresh all of the times and exercise, walking, meditation, etc. is some of the best ways that would help your brain relax and get focused better. Meditation and physical exercises are how you can train your subconscious mind to focus better on whatever it is that you take up. To be able to consistently create and sustain the positive thoughts and affirmations that we’ve mentioned before, it is essential that you allow your mind to do so by fueling it effectively. Walking, meditation and physical exercises have been proven to have a positive impact on the creativity, problem-solving and overall well-being of a person.
Number 5: Do Brain Exercises
Unfortunately, the human brain ages. But successful people have one up on you with Brain Exercises! Growing old may be inevitable but brain exercises have proven to slow down your ‘brain-aging‘. Keeping the subconscious mind active and developing a sense of intellectual curiosity with such brain exercises would help a great deal when it comes to achieving success in your life.
Here are a few brain exercises that have been proven to have a positive impact on your IQ and overall brain performance.Couple both books and brain games on weekends to keep your mind occupied, curious and focused on your goals. Sustaining brain exercises would help to develop a better subconscious mind!
So, are you ready to have complete control of your mind and train it and rewire it to your liking?
