Jon is our Mindfulness Hero of the week and he wanted to share his story to inspire you.  As you read his unique perspective on meditation he let’s you know that meditators all over the world are with you on this journey towards mindfulness.

1. What does meditation mean to you?
To me, meditation is the meaning a new discovery of a pretty interesting thing that is helping me a lot.
2. Could you share some tips on meditation for beginners?
My biggest advice to beginners would be: find a good app for guided meditation, it helps until you get proficient.
3. What are the few challenges you have faced with meditation and how have you overcome them?
Meditate at work. I was unemployed until a few days ago, so I was meditating at home. Now I got a job, so there’s a lot of noise and interruptions. It is easier to meditate at home, but when you do is at a noisy environment, or any place where you get easily stressed out, that’s when you can have a meaningful meditation.
4. How has Aware helped to make meditation easier for you?


 Aware has longer meditations and I love using some energizers to use through the day.
